Walton traveled to Pope on Friday afternoon to face the Pope Greyhounds in an Area 2AAAAA Lacrosse game that pitted the two neighborhood rivals. Although the weather was more conducive for fall football than any spring sport, it didn’t hamper the Raiders from heating up fast.

Walton JV Girls win LAX Tourney

The JV girls lacrosse team won the Trojan Invitational on Saturday. They beat Hillgrove, Kennesaw Mountain and Harrison to take home the trophy. Maggie Olesky was named MVP of the tournament. It was a fun day of lacrosse and the girls should be proud of the way they played.

Walton’s Raiders traveled to Weslyan in Norcross and came away with their second victory of the season. Max Baker, Matt Morabito and Tyler Poole each scored two goals. Michael Harper saved 11 shots on goal. Others scoring for the Walton LAX Attack included Barry Bean, Joe Cherof and Nate Bohnoff. Ned Kaish fed three assists.
