According to Kell’s web site, the Longhorns will be planning a “Blackout” to show their solidarity for this week’s varsity football game. Walton will travel to Kell on Friday, September 4, 2009 for a 7:30 pm kickoff.

Walton has selected Rocky Hidalgo as it’s new head football coach. Coach Hidalgo will be replacing Ed Dudley, who has resigned from Walton to become the head coach at Ware County High School in Waycross, GA.
Coach Hidalgo has been on the Walton staff for 13 years, coaching both on the offense and the defense.
