The Marietta Daily Journal has named Bria Bourgeois their Female Athlete of the Week for the week of January 19, 2009. Bria had breakout games against Centennial (21 points), Lithonia (22 points) and Pope (19 points). Bria, a Walton sophomore, was highlighted in the Wednesday, January 21 edition of the local newspaper.
